TMSV newsTMSV helps recover historic State carriageVictrack recently recovered the body of the Victorian Railways State Car Victoria. The TMSV assisted in the removal of this carriage from behind a scout hall in Carnegie through the loan of our pillar jacks, which were used to lift the body from the ground for transport by truck. Victoria will be held at the former Newport Workshops pending a future restoration project. This carriage was built in 1887, and was used by the Duke and Duchess
of York during their 1901 visit to celebrate the Federation of Australia.
