Trams in the twilight

Saturday February 25, 2006 — 5:30pm until late.

Been working hard? It’s time to have some fun and let the trams out!

With the summer months and long evenings now upon us, it’s the perfect time to make use of a glorious sunset to capture a photo of trams that you won’t normally see in service at Bylands.

Enjoy the late afternoon and the early evening with W1 427, Ballarat 36, X1 467, Y1 612, W2 646 and more. The 45th anniversary of the closure of the original Sydney Tramway system will be acknowledged by the special appearance of scrubber car 10W. It’s time to turn the lights on and have your cameras at the ready.

This event is free to all TMSV members, including a free sausage sizzle. Non-members will be charged $10 entry per person — or sign up as a new member on the night, and participate in the fun for no charge.

All proceeds will go towards the restoration of tramcars.
