TMSV acquires classic Adelaide tram

The TMSV was advised today (25 November 2005) by TransAdelaide that it was successful in tendering for Adelaide H class tramcar No 373. The H class tramcars were introduced in 1929 for service on the Glenelg line, and are soon to be replaced by brand new Flexity low floor articulated tramcars.

It is expected that the TMSV will receive H 373 sometime in early 2006, after the Flexity tramcars have entered full service and the H class tramcars retired, after 76 years of operation.
